Composition and maintenance methods of punch feeder
The punch feeder is specially used for conveying granular, powdered, and sheet materials. When the punching head acts on the processed material through the die, the pressure in the hydraulic cylinder does not reach the rated pressure instantaneously. The pressure will increase as the contact (cutting into the working material) time increases until the electromagnetic reversing valve receives the signal, the reversing valve reverses, and the punching head starts to reset. At this time, the pressure in the cylinder may not reach the set rated pressure value due to the time limit of the pressure oil entering the cylinder, that is, the system pressure has not reached the design value, but the cutting has already been completed. Below, we will introduce the composition and maintenance methods of the punch feeder.
1. Unwinding section
The unwinding section is completed by a dedicated material rack, which feeds the coil to the leveling machine after unwinding from the outer circumference. The type of material rack can be selected according to the material, width, thickness, weight, and other specifications of the materials pressed by the actual punch feeder production line. Common material rack equipment includes heavy-duty material rack, hydraulic heavy-duty material rack, light-duty material rack, double-end material rack, and flat electronic feeder. Customers with special requirements can also customize the specifications of the material rack.
2. Leveling section
The leveling section is completed by the leveling machine, which uses the staggered arrangement of leveling rollers to repeatedly apply pressure to the metal sheet sent out from the material rack, thereby eliminating the internal bending stress of the coil and making the material flat to ensure the quality of the stamped product. The type of leveling machine can be selected based on the material, width, and thickness characteristics of the stamped material. Common leveling equipment used in punch feeder production lines include ultra-precision leveling machine, double-section thin plate leveling machine, precision leveling machine, and material correction machine.
3. Feeding section
The feeding section is completed by the NC feeder, which uses NC servo motor to drive the feeding drum to quantitatively feed materials to the punch. The type of feeder can be selected based on the width, thickness, feed pitch, and accuracy requirements of the stamped material in the actual punch feeder production line. Common feeding equipment used in punch feeder production lines include air feeder, roller feeder, NC feeder, clamp feeder, and gear feeder.
4. Stamping processing section
The punch deforms the metal sheet delivered by the feeder by installing molds and the powerful force of the punch head. The type of punch can be selected based on the characteristics of the stamping process and efficiency requirements. Commonly used punch types in punch feeder production lines include open-type high-power precision punch, open-type double eccentric precision punch, single-point semi-closed precision punch, closed-type double eccentric precision punch, three-crank press, and closed-type gantry press.
