This article aims to provide an introduction to the different types of lubricating oils used for QIAOSEN brand presses.
To ensure the press operates smoothly and extend the lifespan of its components, it is necessary to regularly lubricate the press's lubricating surfaces. During the oil supply process, it is essential to follow Strict Observation Items During Maintenance section.
Important notes:
1) Only use the specified oil and avoid mixing different types of oil, both old and new. Mixing oils can lead to loss of lubrication functionality and potential damage to sliding parts.
2) Be cautious when handling various oils and always use protective equipment such as protective glasses and gloves. Particularly, the oil can reach high temperatures after the press is in use. Carelessness may result in burns, so it is advisable to wait until the oil has cooled before working with it.
3) If metal flakes, metal powder, or foreign matter are discovered in the replaced oil (waste oil), it may indicate damage to internal parts. Please contact our maintenance department for assistance.
4) Once the oil is drained, it should be promptly wiped clean. If oil enters the control equipment, it can lead to malfunctions due to poor insulation.
1.1 Centralized lubrication:
For this series of presses, an electric grease pump is used to supply grease to each lubricating point. Before starting the machine, add grease for 2 minutes. Subsequently, the grease supply is controlled by a PLC, and a quantitative oil separator ensures the correct amount of lubricating grease is delivered to each point.
1.2 Oil lubrication:
Gears, pinions, worm gears, and worms are immersed in an oil pool for lubrication. The oil level gauge should be checked daily, and the oil inside the top gearbox should be replaced every 6 months.
