7 things to note when operating a punch press
1. Punch press workers must learn, master the structure and performance of the punch press, be familiar with the operating procedures and obtain an operating license before they can operate independently.
2. Use the safety protection and control devices on the punch machine correctly and do not dismantle them at will.
3. Check whether the transmission, connection, lubrication system and other parts of the punch machine and the protective safety devices are normal. The screws for installing the mold must be firm and must not move.
4. The punch machine should be idle for 2-3 minutes before working. Check the flexibility of the control devices such as foot brakes and confirm that they are normal before use. If the punch machine is faulty, it is not allowed to operate.
5. When installing the mold, install it firmly, align the upper and lower molds to ensure the correct position, and move the punch machine by hand to test punch (empty) to ensure that the mold is working in good condition.
6. Before opening the punch press, pay attention to lubrication and remove all floating items on the punch press.
7. When the punch press is running for stamping, the operator should stand in a proper position, keep a certain distance between his hands and head and the punch press, and always pay attention to the punch movement. Chatting with others is strictly prohibited.
